Big-name brands like Clorox, Comet, Drano, Lysol, Kaboom, and Scrubbing Bubbles have consistently received failing grades from the Environmental Working Group (EWG) due to the health risks associated with their ingredients.
In fact, EWG tested over 2,000 cleaning products and found that some released fumes that triggered asthma in otherwise healthy individuals. Worse, they even detected formaldehyde—a known carcinogen—in products like Comet, Pine-Sol, and Simple Green.
